All board meetings are open to Vintage Heights Homeowners and you are welcome to attend any or all board meetings. Occasionally the meetings may move location or time due to weather or board member needs, so please email us at vintageheights@gmail.com before a meeting to make sure of the time and location.

VH Accomplishments 2022-2023 

Ongoing planting and maintenance at the Pollinator Greenway. The greenway provides for water and soil erosion control and supporting pollinators with Native plants.

Continued partnership with the Nebraska Arboretum- New species, trees and shrubs- we gain expert advice & access to Native and well adapted plants to our area.

Removal of non-native thistles.

Removal of hazardous trees, particularly around houses and the trail

Weed treatment 

Continued weed removal on the gas line.

Sponsored Food Trucks coming into the neighborhood in Summer and Fall. 

Two driveway concerts with the Vintage Trio.

Large July 4th Celebration at Mendoza Park and picnic.

Kid’s Bike Parade on July 4th.

Held a movie night at Mendoza Park (The Goonies). 

Sponsored Summer Neighborhood Garage Sales.

Sponsored a Kid’s Entrepreneur Day.

In year two of our three year contracts with our most recent vendors (snow, mowing, bookkeeping, landscape maintenance at roundabouts and entrances).

Sponsored two Holiday Decorating Contests.

Maintained financials and kept the neighborhood fiscally solvent with enough retained earnings to cover neighborhood emergencies.

Continued planning for new amenities-parking lot, utility building and new field space for events.

Sponsored neighborhood clean-ups to keep the neighborhood nice

Continued to paint and request assistance to paint neighborhood fire hydrants

The board runs with between 9 and 11 active members. At this time we can fill three open slots for board membership. (Read the handout of what the board does).

Upcoming Events-

Spring Clean-up in May

Food trucks are back for this Spring, Summer and Fall. We kick off with Klein’s Funnel Cakes on April 20th at the new parking lot off of 93rd in the new subdivision area. The website, Nextdoor and Facebook will all have the schedule as soon as we have them finalized.

Neighborhood Garage Sales (June 10-11th, 2022) We are participating along with our neighbors at Boulder Ridge

July 4th Kid’s Bike Parade and Carnival at Mendoza Park will be announced soon for the Morning of July 4th

Kids’ Entrepreneur Day Saturday June 11th from 8-12 to coincide with the garage sales
